Senior Litigation Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Litigation Lawyer to lead our Litigation Team in London. This is a permanent, full‑time position offering hybrid working between the office and home. You will be responsible for managing complex housing management litigation cases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing Litigation Team.
• Handle a wide range of housing litigation, including anti‑social behaviour, possession, disrepair, Equality Act, leasehold management, service charge disputes and debt recovery.
• Prepare and present complex legal information clearly to clients, courts and tribunals.
• Ensure cases are progressed within deadlines and meet organisational targets.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce high‑quality legal documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support broader legal strategies.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England, or a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with full practice rights.
• Significant experience in all types of housing litigation.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a legal team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organised, methodical and detail‑focused with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrates Guinness Behaviours and Leadership & Management Standards.

Required skills

• Strong IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office.
