Senior Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious high‑end residential development in Victoria, London. The role is hands‑on and senior, responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the flagship site.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical building services.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team as the senior on‑site engineer.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all plant and associated equipment.
• Perform fault finding, repairs and plant isolations in line with procedures and regulations.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and complete site documentation (logbooks, RAMS, permits to work, maintenance records).
• Coordinate and supervise specialist contractors.
• Raise, update and close maintenance tasks using PDA and CMMS systems.
• Promote safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installations (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent) with current Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• Previous experience in a high‑end residential or luxury hotel environment.
• Proven experience as a Senior Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Engineer within building services.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Residence within reasonable commuting distance of Victoria.
