Senior Management Accountant – Finance Manager

About the role

Investigo is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join its growing international finance team in High Wycombe. The role blends core financial control duties with commercial finance partnering, forecasting, performance analysis and process improvement across multiple territories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts and financial models; deliver revenue, profitability and margin analysis.
• Provide commercial support to operational and leadership teams, reviewing contracts and contributing to pricing and bid strategies.
• Lead month‑end close for several international entities, preparing accruals, pre‑payments and journal entries.
• Maintain fixed‑asset register, depreciation, amortisation and lease accounting; produce balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, investigate variances and support group reporting.
• Manage intercompany transactions and working‑capital performance, including cash‑flow forecasts.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives, KPI monitoring and finance‑system optimisation.
• Line‑manage a finance team member responsible for accounts payable and receivable.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior accountant or management accountant in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
• Experience leading month‑end close, fixed‑asset accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ability to work closely with operational stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including managing junior finance staff.
