Senior Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing creative agency that serves luxury fashion, beauty and technology brands. The role sits within a tight five‑person finance team and will have direct responsibility for month‑end close, project accounting and consolidation of the US entity.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close, journal entries and management accounts, aiming for a five‑day close.
• Lead project‑level accounting, tracking job profitability, forecasting completion and flagging cost overruns.
• Consolidate the US entity’s books into group reporting.
• Partner with project managers and production teams to turn numbers into commercial insight.
• Manage revenue recognition and reporting across projects.
• Post ad‑hoc invoices and journals and support the transactional team as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes as the business scales.

Required profile

• At least two years’ experience as a management accountant, ready to step up to a senior role.
• Background in a fee‑for‑time, project‑based environment such as an agency, architecture or professional services firm.
• Strong ownership of month‑end and management accounts.
• Comfortable with project or job‑level profitability accounting.
• Confident communicator able to partner with non‑finance teams.
• Based within a comfortable commute of Putney (four‑day‑in‑office role).
• Qualified, part‑qualified or qualified by experience; study support available.
