Senior Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join PraxisGroup’s growing Finance team in London. The role offers genuine ownership of a portfolio of group entities within a vertically‑integrated commercial real‑estate business, working closely with an experienced finance team while having the autonomy to challenge and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the quarterly management accounts process for assigned entities, including P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations, billing, accruals, pre‑payments, intercompany transactions and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts preparation and audit liaison, collaborating with operational teams across the business.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or part‑qualified with a clear path) or qualified by experience.
• 2–3 years of end‑to‑end management accounts preparation across multiple entities, preferably in property, real‑estate investment or development.
• Experience of year‑end statutory reporting and working directly with external auditors.
• Proven ability to meet multiple concurrent reporting deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to explain financial results to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (look‑ups, pivot tables, handling large data extracts).
• Experience with Sage Intacct or a comparable multi‑entity cloud accounting platform.
