Senior Manager – Industrial Hygiene

About the role

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes division is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Industrial Hygiene (IH) across multiple sites. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to protect employee health, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement of IH programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve IH programs, including exposure assessment, hazard evaluation and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ACGIH and other occupational health regulations as well as internal standards.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for IH, advising EHS partners, operations and senior leadership.
• Lead risk assessments for chemicals, particulates, noise, ergonomics and other occupational exposures.
• Develop and maintain monitoring programs, analyse data and report findings to drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health within a manufacturing or medical‑device environment.
• Strong knowledge of US and international EHS regulations.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
