Senior Manager – Major & Complex Loss (MCL)

About the role

As a Senior Manager in the Major & Complex Loss (MCL) team, you will lead the handling of high‑value property claims, ranging from High Net Worth portfolios to major domestic and commercial losses such as subsidence and oil escape. The role combines technical expertise, client service excellence, and leadership across South East UK and the Home Counties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of High Net Worth, major loss and complex property claims, ensuring precision and professionalism.
• Deliver timely, accurate and high‑quality outcomes while meeting demanding service standards.
• Produce clear, technically robust reports and correspondence for clients, brokers and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, brokers and internal teams.
• Participate in a 1‑in‑3 on‑call rota to provide out‑of‑hours support for key clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in loss adjusting, preferably with exposure to High Net Worth and major loss cases.
• Progress toward or completion of ACILA, FCILA or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, dependable approach under pressure.
• Flexible mindset, able to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver high‑quality technical work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Full, clean driving licence.
