Senior Manager – NFR Front Office Strategy (Capital Markets)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join a leading Tier‑1 capital markets group in London. The team focuses on front‑office strategy, non‑financial risk, regulatory transformation and ESG initiatives for major banks.

Key responsibilities

• Review and redesign risk and controls frameworks and operating models.
• Conduct desk‑mapping and post‑Brexit strategy assessments for derivatives.
• Lead heritage LIBOR transition and related regulatory work.
• Support Risk COOs with audit findings, consent orders and remediation plans.
• Provide advisory support for MiFID programmes and related compliance.
• Analyse controls data, evaluate end‑to‑end road‑maps and recommend technology solutions for front‑office data quality.
• Produce thought‑leadership white papers and engage with heads of regulatory programmes across top investment banks.

Required profile

• Strong background in investment‑banking products and services.
• Demonstrated expertise in non‑financial risk and banking regulation.
• Experience delivering projects across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence.
• Track record of successful delivery for Tier‑1 banks and ability to manage and develop consulting teams.
• Business development capability with examples of selling additional work.
• Collaborative, learning‑oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to practice development.
