Senior Manager, Tax Quality Assurance

About the role

Ryan is hiring a Senior Manager, Tax Quality Assurance in Media City. The role involves conducting engagement reviews to evaluate key touchpoints across the client journey, assessing compliance with firm governance and giving actionable recommendations that improve the client experience and reduce risk. It is a hybrid position with no supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and carry out engagement reviews using firmwide and practice-specific governance and quality assurance procedures.
• Evaluate client service issues and recommend ways to keep standards clear and consistent across the client journey.
• Report findings and recommendations to the leadership team and key stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and team members and act as a trusted advisor.
• Work with practices to recommend improvements that support a consistent client experience and the Ryan brand.
• Prioritise multiple tasks so client needs are met promptly.
• Identify learning opportunities for Practice Leaders, Principals and talent effectiveness, safeguard confidential information and help with firm initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Six to eight years of experience in tax services.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• No supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Required skills

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, plus internet navigation and research.
• Ability to use AI, analytics and process automation to improve productivity and accuracy.
• Strong written, visual and verbal communication, attention to detail, accuracy, organisation and multitasking.
