Senior Manager/Director - Restructuring Advisory

About the role

FRP Advisory is seeking a Senior Manager/Director to lead its Restructuring Advisory practice in the Teesside region. The successful candidate will manage complex corporate restructuring assignments, from initial advice through to formal processes such as CVLs, administrations and CVAs. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on case management and client relationship development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage restructuring assignments, including CVLs, administrations, MVLs, corporate simplification and CVAs.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact and delivering high‑quality advisory services.
• Oversee case reviews, prepare reports for partner review and supervise junior team members.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations and innovative solutions to complex financial and structural challenges.
• Drive business development activities to enhance FRP’s profile in restructuring advisory.
• Lead, mentor and collaborate with the Teesside restructuring team and other FRP pillars.

Required profile

• JIEB.CII qualification and minimum of 8 years’ experience in restructuring advisory.
• ACA/ACCA qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and client‑facing skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
