Senior Market Risk Analyst

About the role

The Senior Market Risk Analyst will join the Mid Office team in West London, supporting the production and analysis of market‑risk information for senior stakeholders. Working closely with the Head of Mid Office, the role ensures accurate, timely reporting and contributes to risk‑mitigation decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and analyse risk reporting for the Mid Office under supervision.
• Consolidate data from multiple platforms to produce accurate market‑risk reports and metrics.
• Prepare error‑free management information (MI) and circulate it to senior stakeholders.
• Support key business decisions and change initiatives with risk insights.
• Communicate with Head Office teams to satisfy compliance requirements.
• Investigate improvements and automation opportunities for reporting processes.
• Analyse market‑risk report outputs and provide value‑added commentary on trends, gaps and mitigation actions.
• Contribute to standard operating procedures and technical documentation for consistency.
• Investigate anomalies and promptly escalate issues to the Head of Mid Office.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Mid Office.
