Senior Marketing Manager – Tech Events

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the commercial marketing of large‑scale tech and data events. The role will be based in London with a hybrid working model (three days in the office) and will focus on driving paid attendance and brand growth for high‑profile conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the end‑to‑end strategic marketing plan for each event.
• Define the event’s unique value proposition and position it in a crowded marketplace.
• Steward the event brand across digital, print, social and experiential touchpoints.
• Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to set optimal ticket pricing and promotions.
• Lead integrated, data‑driven campaigns across digital, PR, content, email and partnership channels.
• Set KPIs for ticket sales, engagement and ROI, and monitor performance against targets.
• Manage the marketing budget to maximise ROI.
• Guide the creation of compelling content and storytelling that brings the event brand to life.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in large‑scale conference environments (1,000+ attendees).
• Proven track record of driving paid attendance and commercial results.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and audience insights.
• Excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple projects under pressure.
