Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor – Data Centres

About the role

We are seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with specialist experience in data centre projects. Based in London – with the option to work remotely – you will lead mechanical and electrical cost management throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical cost estimating and cost planning for data centre projects.
• Analyse project costs, produce accurate forecasts and maintain budgets.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control finances.
• Evaluate and negotiate contractor claims and variations.
• Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in MEP surveying.
• Support post‑contract cost management and final account settlements.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical quantity surveying within construction.
• Experience on data centre or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong analytical ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Relevant qualification in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Knowledge of industry standards and MEP surveying practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
