Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor – London

About the role

Brandon James Ltd is seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its cost management team in London. You will deliver MEP cost advice across pre‑ and post‑contract stages for a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare MEP cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies.
• Manage tender documentation, procurement processes and contractor analysis.
• Deliver post‑contract services including valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Review MEP design information and advise on cost implications.
• Attend client meetings, design reviews and site progress meetings.
• Support junior team members and contribute to overall project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Extensive MEP cost management experience within a UK consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical packages across varied project types.
• Proven experience delivering both pre‑ and post‑contract services.
• Confident client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• MRICS membership or working towards chartership is advantageous.
