About the role
Wellington Management is looking for a Senior Microsoft Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, build, and evolution of its Microsoft‑based cloud environment. Based in London, you will work closely with Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Identity and Architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient services that support global operations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and continuously improve the firm’s Azure, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 platform.
- Implement and own secure, scalable, and resilient platform capabilities for business‑critical services.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance, identity, security and access‑management policies.
- Create automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and Infrastructure as Code.
- Drive platform simplification, standardisation and lifecycle management through automation.
- Lead technical troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and resolution of complex Azure and Microsoft Entra issues.
Required profile
- Proactive senior engineer comfortable taking ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
- Strong judgment in security, scalability and reliability decisions.
