Senior Migration Consultant - Clinical Data Programming

About the role

Veeva’s Vault Clinical Data Management System (CDMS) is modernising how life‑sciences companies handle trial data. The Migration Team moves customers from legacy platforms such as Medidata Rave and Oracle InForm into Vault CDMS, and we are seeking a senior consultant to lead these complex data migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sponsors and CROs to interpret legacy database structures, protocol specifications and mapping requirements, applying Veeva migration best practices.
• Perform data transformation, mapping and script validation on large, complex clinical datasets extracted from legacy platforms.
• Lead end‑to‑end migration delivery for active clinical trials, coordinating with cross‑functional technical teams.
• Develop and configure validation scripts and custom SQL‑based listings to ensure data integrity and auditability during ingestion.
• Provide feedback to Vault CDMS & DQS product teams and contribute reusable migration tools and automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software covering full data‑management lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial processes and data collection standards.
• Programming experience in SAS, R, Python or SQL and ability to learn new SQL‑based languages.
• Background in the life‑sciences industry with experience in project assessment, planning and implementation.
• Customer‑facing experience in software professional services or consulting, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel up to 10%.
