Senior MRI Radiographer – Tees Valley Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior MRI Radiographer to join the Radiology team at Tees Valley Hospital in Middlesbrough. You will lead the MRI suite, ensuring high‑quality imaging services while supporting patient care across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality MRI services within agreed financial margins.
• Provide patient‑centred care and maintain confidentiality in line with Ramsay policies.
• Participate in on‑call rotas, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Process radiology bookings and manage RIS/PACS workflows.
• Collaborate with the wider radiology team to support imaging services throughout the department.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Minimum three years of up‑to‑date MRI experience.
• Evidence of post‑registration professional development.
• Previous private‑sector experience is desirable.

Required skills

• MRI operation and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with RIS and PACS systems.
• Computer literacy for imaging software and data entry.
