Senior Operations Analyst – Multi‑Strategy Hedge Fund (Up to £120k + Bonus)

About the role

A global multi‑strategy hedge fund is expanding its European office and seeks a Senior Operations Analyst to sit between the analyst team and the Head of Operations/Middle Office. The role focuses on higher‑level analytical tasks, process improvement and technology‑driven initiatives rather than manual processing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day (BAU) operations processes and ensure service quality.
• Manage junior team members and coordinate with outsourced service providers.
• Lead projects aimed at process automation, infrastructure build‑outs, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with a high‑profile trading desk, handling both tech‑focused and ad‑hoc non‑technical projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive adoption of new technology solutions.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in hedge fund operations or middle office.
• Investment‑banking background with broad derivatives knowledge is also acceptable.
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to work with advanced technology tools.
• Proven track record of managing projects and improving operational processes.
