About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead our client’s commercial operations, overseeing the end‑to‑end supply‑chain from procurement to final customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities across the business, ensuring efficient execution of the supply‑chain process.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimise logistics, coordinating with suppliers, terminals, brokers and transport providers to meet contractual and customer requirements.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, develop procedures and mitigate operational risks.
• Establish and track performance metrics, analyse data and produce management reports.
• Lead, coach and develop the operations team, fostering a collaborative and results‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or supply‑chain management within a fast‑paced trading or logistics environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to build relationships with suppliers, brokers and transport partners.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
