Senior Operations Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our client’s commercial operations function. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end supply chain, ensuring products move efficiently from procurement to final customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across the business and ensure seamless execution of the supply chain.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimise logistics, coordinating with suppliers, terminals, brokers, and transport providers to meet contractual and customer requirements.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, develop operational procedures, and manage risk mitigation.
• Establish and track performance metrics, analyse data, and produce management reports.
• Lead, coach, and develop the operations team, fostering a collaborative and results‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or supply chain management within a fast‑paced logistics environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, brokers, and transport partners.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure regulatory compliance and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and drive improvement.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team development and succession planning.
