Senior Operations/Export Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Operations/Export Executive to lead both domestic distribution and international export activities for a key customer account. The role combines warehouse distribution oversight with end‑to‑end export management, ensuring shipments move efficiently from collection to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee product distribution from the warehouse to distribution centres, ensuring timely and cost‑effective deliveries.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers and internal teams to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor transportation costs and schedules, implement distribution policies and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company regulations.
• Resolve operational issues and handle customer complaints.
• Manage all export shipments for a dedicated account, arranging collections with hauliers and transport providers.
• Book cargo with airlines, shipping lines and carriers, preparing export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and shipping instructions.
• Monitor shipments, proactively address delays, liaise with overseas agents for customs clearance and final delivery.
• Provide customers with regular shipment updates and maintain accurate records in the system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in distribution, logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems and export processes.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of customs regulations and international shipping documentation.
• Leadership experience and ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and carriers.
