Senior Operator / Production Supervisor (Day Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Operator / Production Supervisor to lead a day‑shift team at our modern manufacturing site in Petersfield. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, meeting quality targets and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and guide a team to achieve production and quality objectives.
• Coach staff, support training and manage return‑to‑work conversations.
• Analyse OEE data and apply structured problem‑solving to boost performance.
• Champion Lean, 5S and continuous‑improvement activities on the shop floor.
• Maintain compliance with quality documentation and drive corrective actions.
• Assist with wider projects and provide line support when required.

Required profile

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, food production or similar fast‑paced environments.
• Proven ability to coach, stay calm under pressure and drive team success.
• Willingness to work day‑shift (Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑3 pm) on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis.
