Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor – Cost Management

About the role

We are partnering with a leading cost‑management consultancy in Cambridge that is seeking a Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor. You will join a dynamic team delivering award‑winning projects across East Anglia, London and Oxford, covering sectors such as industrial, education, life sciences and healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage cost‑management commissions from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and to client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams, acting as the primary point of contact for cost advice.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities, contributing to business growth.
• Produce cost‑management outputs including pre‑contract estimates, procurement strategies, contract administration, cost reporting and final account resolution.
• Represent the firm at networking and industry events to promote its services.

Required profile

• Degree qualified (BSc or MSc) in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership with RICS, CIOB or an equivalent body.
• Proven consultancy experience delivering the full spectrum of cost‑management services.
• Ability to advise clients on cost, value and risk and to work independently alongside senior directors.
