Senior Outsourcing Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing accountancy and advisory firm in Guildford, is seeking a Senior Outsourcing Manager to lead outsourced finance engagements for SME and owner‑managed businesses. This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape strategic financial advice and support ambitious clients across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic adviser to SME and owner‑managed clients.
• Lead board‑level meetings and deliver commercial financial insight.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and performance reporting.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and operational efficiency.
• Support clients through periods of growth, transformation and change.
• Collaborate with specialist tax, audit and payroll teams.
• Develop and mentor finance teams both internally and within client organisations.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience at Director level within practice or outsourced finance.
• Strong background advising SMEs and owner‑managed businesses.
• Commercially minded with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience leading high‑performing finance teams.
• Exposure to growth businesses, scale‑ups or transformation projects is advantageous.
