About the role
As the Senior Packaging, Compliance & ESG Coordinator you will support and drive Reiss’s packaging compliance and environmental strategy. Reporting to the ESG Manager you will own data analysis, compliance requirements and key workstreams, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and sustainability partners.
Key responsibilities
- Lead packaging compliance activities across legislation such as PPWR, EPR and UK Plastic Tax, ensuring requirements are understood and delivered.
- Analyse and report packaging data for compliance, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage supplier follow‑up and evidence gathering, identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
- Promote the use of traceable, preferred packaging materials and advise teams on best practice.
- Support the development of Reiss’s packaging strategy, centralising and managing packaging data.
- Use systems like Segura, Vision and Origin to capture fibre certifications and provide progress updates.
- Contribute to traceability projects, new system implementation and supply‑chain mapping.
Required profile
- Previous experience in ESG, sustainability, packaging compliance or a related field, preferably within fashion or retail.
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation, especially EPR, UK Plastic Tax and PPWR.
- Confident working with data, identifying trends and gaps.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Effective communicator able to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and external partners.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with packaging data systems such as Segura, Vision and Origin.
