Senior Paraplanner

About the role

We are partnering with a highly regarded independent financial adviser (IFA) practice that is expanding its paraplanning team. As a Senior Paraplanner you will be the key driver of report quality and will support advisers throughout the client journey.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with providers to gather and correlate plan, policy and pension information.
• Maintain precise records of pipeline and submitted business for client and adviser updates.
• Write suitability reports and research products using Select A Pension, FE Analytics and Defaqto.
• Create and maintain client files, entering details into the back‑office database.
• Submit business on internal and external systems and prepare new‑business paperwork.
• Collaborate with trainee paraplanners and a range of stakeholders, including compliance and external providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in paraplanning within a financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of individual and employer pensions, investments and protection products.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and ensure high‑quality report output.
