Senior Paraplanner

About the role

FindCore is assisting an established independent wealth management firm to recruit a Senior Paraplanner for their permanent, centrally‑located Leeds office.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, compliant suitability reports within agreed timescales.
• Conduct detailed technical research across financial‑planning products and solutions.
• Assist in preparing client portfolio reviews and cash‑flow models.
• Respond to technical queries from clients and advisers.
• Support advisers with complex pensions, investments and broader financial‑planning cases.
• Maintain and update the firm’s preferred provider panels and monitor recommended products.
• Work with the technical team to update standard reports, recommendation wording and advisory tools.
• Ensure all advice documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Paraplanner or comparable technical financial‑services role.
• Strong written communication with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and convey it clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Confidence in supporting and developing less‑experienced colleagues.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).

• Fully negotiable salary (GBP 40,000–60,000 per year) plus discretionary bonus.
