Senior Paraplanner – Leeds

About the role

FindCore is supporting an established independent wealth‑management firm in hiring a Senior Paraplanner for its central Leeds office. This permanent position involves producing compliant suitability reports, technical research and supporting advisers on complex financial cases.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate suitability reports and detailed client cash‑flow models within agreed timescales.
• Conduct technical research across financial‑planning products and maintain provider panels.
• Assist with client portfolio reviews and respond to technical queries from advisers.
• Support advisers with complex pensions, investments and broader financial‑planning cases.
• Update standard reports, recommendation wording and advisory tools in collaboration with the Technical team.
• Ensure all advice documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Paraplanner or comparable technical financial‑services role.
• Strong written communication with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and convey it clearly.
• Competent use of Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Confidence in supporting and developing less‑experienced colleagues.
