Senior Pension Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Pension Project Manager to lead a portfolio of large, complex and high‑visibility projects within the pensions administration and consulting space. You will drive implementations, benefit changes, dashboard roll‑outs, GMP projects, de‑risking programmes and multi‑provider deliveries, playing a central part in major transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser to clients, third‑party providers and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Provide expert guidance on complex defined‑benefit pension initiatives and support decision‑making.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality outcomes are met.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration across multiple service lines.
• Drive governance, risk management and project controls.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to new delivery propositions.

Required profile

• Experienced project managers seeking senior progression or pensions professionals from consulting, transitions, implementations or change backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of defined‑benefit (DB) pensions.
• Proven experience partnering closely with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Structured, organised approach with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
