Senior Platform Owner – PHP & AWS (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Owner to take full responsibility for a mature PHP/Laravel platform and its AWS infrastructure. This fully remote, three‑month contract (with possible extension) is ideal for a hands‑on professional who thrives on stabilising production systems and delivering technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain a production‑grade PHP/Laravel application.
• Manage and optimise AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, networking, monitoring and backups.
• Review, troubleshoot and enhance the existing Laravel codebase.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Introduce automated testing for critical user journeys.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven ownership of production environments.
• Self‑motivated and able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on platform stability.
