Senior Portfolio Manager – Systematic Corporate Bonds

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead and expand our systematic corporate bond trading capability in London. This high‑impact position will allow you to shape a new systematic fixed‑income platform from the ground up, working within a well‑backed investment firm that is committed to talent and infrastructure growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and run scalable systematic corporate bond investment strategies.
• Generate consistent risk‑adjusted returns across corporate credit markets.
• Oversee portfolio construction, systematic research and ongoing strategy optimisation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to grow the broader platform capability.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm’s investment culture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in systematic fixed‑income or corporate bond investing.
• Proven track record of generating consistent risk‑adjusted P&L.
• Deep expertise in corporate credit markets and portfolio construction.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to scale investment strategies.
• Background at leading hedge funds, asset managers or proprietary trading firms is preferred.
