Senior PR Lead

About the role

CUBE is a global RegTech company seeking its first in‑house Senior PR Lead. Reporting to the CMO, you will own the media relations function and shape the company’s story across the UK, US and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global media relations strategy focused on financial, banking and RegTech/FinTech press in the UK and US.
• Build and maintain direct relationships with journalists at publications such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Risk.net, WSJ, The Banker and others.
• Identify and create media opportunities around funding rounds, product launches, thought‑leadership and regulatory moments.
• Serve as the primary media contact, handling inbound enquiries and coordinating rapid responses.
• Brief and manage a specialist US PR agency for campaign‑based activities.
• Partner with the executive team to craft messaging, prepare spokespeople and support leadership profiling.
• Draft and edit press releases, pitches, briefing documents and reactive statements.
• Monitor the media landscape and regulatory news agenda, flagging reputational risks and reporting on coverage quality.

Required profile

• 7+ years of PR experience, preferably in financial services, fintech or RegTech, either in‑house or at a specialist agency.
• Deep knowledge of the UK and US financial and banking media landscape with established journalist relationships.
• Proven track record of securing high‑quality earned media in tier‑one business and financial publications.
• Strong writing ability to produce compelling pitches, press releases and briefing documents.
• Experience managing external PR agencies and holding them accountable for results.
• Ability to operate quickly in a complex, technical environment and translate complexity into clear narratives.
• Self‑starter who can own projects end‑to‑end with minimal support.
• High integrity and sound news judgement.
