Senior Pricing Analyst

About the role

Supporting the Pricing and Underwriting team, the Senior Pricing Analyst will lead advanced pricing analysis, portfolio monitoring and the development of pricing models to drive sustainable, profitable growth for Pikl's insurance products and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance and enhancement of actuarial pricing models across Pikl products.
• Conduct complex pricing and portfolio analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas of concern.
• Monitor product and portfolio performance, including premium adequacy, loss ratios, rating performance and profitability.
• Oversee the pricing of new products, schemes and partnership opportunities.
• Produce detailed pricing analyses, reports and recommendations to support business decision‑making.
• Drive ongoing monitoring and validation of pricing models and rating structures.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience in insurance pricing, with at least 2 years actuarial experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proven ability to analyse large data sets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and collaborating across underwriting, claims, product and partnership teams.
• Substantial experience within General Insurance pricing, preferably in an MGA or delegated‑authority environment.
