Senior Pricing Analyst / Pricing Actuary

About the role

You will work on a wide range of technical and commercial pricing activities within a leading insurance business. The position combines pricing model development, portfolio analysis, case pricing support and stakeholder engagement, offering strong exposure across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate and deploy pricing models for specialty and commercial insurance lines.
• Conduct portfolio analysis and provide case pricing support to underwriters.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to translate technical insights into practical underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve pricing processes and data quality.

Required profile

• Nearly or newly qualified Pricing Actuary.
• Significant pricing experience within specialty or commercial insurance.
• Proven experience supporting pricing model development, validation and deployment.
• Strong analytical and data skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Python (advantageous).
