Senior Principal – Value, Pricing & Access

About the role

Lead strategic market access consulting engagements for global biopharma clients, shaping how innovative oncology, rare disease and specialty therapies reach patients worldwide. Partner with senior stakeholders to influence product positioning, pricing, reimbursement and evidence generation across the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Sponsor and oversee multiple high‑impact value, pricing and access projects, providing strategic direction and ensuring scientific rigour.
• Lead senior‑level client workshops, advisory boards and strategic discussions, translating payer insights into actionable recommendations.
• Drive business development, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to proposals and capability presentations.
• Line‑manage, coach and mentor consultants, supporting recruitment, talent development and practice‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience in market access, pricing, commercial strategy or life‑sciences consulting, with deep knowledge of global HTA and payer systems.
• Proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement and leading complex consulting engagements.
• Extensive experience in oncology, rare diseases or other high‑value therapeutic areas.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills, with a history of business development success.
• Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, MBA, MPH or similar) preferred; BA/BS required.
