Senior Private Client Paralegal

About the role

A highly respected regional law firm in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Paralegal to join its Private Client team. You will work alongside solicitors, managing a varied caseload of wills, probate and estate administration matters while providing high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings, advise on estate planning and inheritance tax, and draft complex wills and trusts.
• Prepare and submit grant applications, value estates, and manage probate and administration processes.
• Liaise with financial institutions, HMRC, beneficiaries and other third parties throughout the estate administration.
• Maintain accurate case records, record time, support billing and contribute to departmental targets.
• Supervise and develop junior team members and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience within a Private Client environment, handling wills, trusts and probate matters.
• Ability to manage a varied personal caseload efficiently and meet service standards.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and third‑party professionals.
