Senior Private Client Paralegal / Will Writer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Paralegal / Will Writer to join a well‑established legal practice in St. Leonards‑on‑Sea. The role offers the chance to manage a busy caseload, support clients through important life decisions, and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Draft a wide range of wills for private‑client customers.
• Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA).
• Manage a high‑volume caseload efficiently and accurately.
• Supervise and support junior members of the team.
• Deliver excellent client service throughout the entire process.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the Private Client department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in private‑client work, including drafting wills and LPAs.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Positive, professional approach to client care.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues (advantageous).

Required skills

• LLB, STEP qualification or another recognised will‑writing qualification.
