Senior Private Client Solicitor – Partner/Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced senior private client solicitor to take ownership of an established, growing department within a respected multi‑service law firm in Greater Manchester. You will inherit a solid client base and lead the team while enjoying a modern, flexible hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and Court of Protection matters.
• Continue developing and expanding the already established private client department.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior solicitors and support staff.
• Implement and improve departmental processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with wider firm teams to maximise cross‑referral opportunities.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the business.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent with at least 8 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical experience across private client law, including wills, trusts and probate.
• Proven experience managing complex, high‑value private client matters.
• Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience.
