Senior Procurement Lead

Join us as we work to unlock the value of offshore wind. JERA Nex bp, a joint venture between JERA and bp, is building a leading offshore wind company and seeks a Senior Procurement Lead to drive sourcing and contracting for corporate services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate procurement, providing sourcing and contracting support for offices management, IT & Digital, HR, Communications, Finance and Legal.
• Develop and implement sourcing and contracting strategies in partnership with business teams.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from inception through contract execution and post‑award activities, including commercial evaluation and negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations and report progress.
• Work closely with suppliers to drive innovation, risk/reward agreements and deliver value.
• Support supply‑chain development with up‑to‑date knowledge on local content and supplier opportunities.
• Ensure achievement of functional and business performance targets and maintain compliant P2P processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of procurement experience, specifically in sourcing and contracting.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation expertise.
• Experience with Procure‑to‑Pay systems such as SAP.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborate with contractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Agile, respectful, tactful and resilient, comfortable with change.
