Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager for a high‑impact interim assignment in Warrington. The role runs from August to October, offering a hybrid working pattern (1‑2 days per week onsite) and a day rate of £400‑£450 inside IR35. You will work closely with the Head of Procurement and senior stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing, deliver savings and support a major procurement transformation programme, including ERP integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing projects and develop category strategies that generate measurable savings.
• Conduct complex negotiations, manage contracts and oversee supplier performance.
• Support procurement transformation initiatives, governance improvements and ERP readiness.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and ensure successful project delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement, risk management and sustainable procurement practices.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering procurement savings and operational efficiencies.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Commercial, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience supporting change, transformation or business improvement programmes.
