Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to lead subcontract procurement on high‑value construction projects. Based in Gerrards Cross, you will join a leading international general contractor delivering complex industrial and data‑centre developments across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Procure subcontract packages from enquiry through to order placement.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure best‑value agreements.
• Review drawings, specifications and scope documents to ensure alignment.
• Analyse quotations, identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with estimating, commercial and project delivery teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience procuring construction subcontract packages.
• Background working for a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Quantity surveying or commercial background is an advantage.
