Senior Procurement Professional – Construction (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Professional to lead end‑to‑end procurement for construction packages on a 12‑month contract based in Scotstoun, Glasgow. The role will support sourcing, tendering and contract award activities across infrastructure and capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate bids and negotiate with suppliers.
• Provide procurement and commercial support to project teams, ensuring alignment with programme budgets and objectives.
• Administer contracts and framework agreements, monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Support supplier relationship management, including performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and contribute to reporting on commercial and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Essential: proven experience in construction supply chain procurement and knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Desirable: MRICS or MCIPS qualification, client‑side experience and familiarity with public‑sector regulated environments.
