Senior Product Controller – Credit Hedge Fund

About the role

We are partnering with a leading multi‑billion‑dollar credit hedge fund to recruit a Senior Product Controller. The role sits at the centre of the firm, working closely with the Head of Fund Finance, Portfolio Managers and Risk teams to oversee valuation reviews and challenge pricing assumptions across a complex credit portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct valuation reviews and investigate material valuation movements.
• Challenge pricing assumptions and support product launches.
• Oversee trade lifecycle events and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen controls and governance frameworks as the platform scales.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across fund accounting, NAV production and risk functions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5‑10 years of experience.
• Background in product control, valuations or fund accounting at an investment bank or hedge fund.
• Exposure to credit products such as loans, bonds, structured credit, private credit, distressed credit or credit derivatives.
