Senior Product Manager

About the role

Menlo Security is building MARS for Agents, a product line that secures autonomous and hybrid AI agents. The Senior Product Manager will own a technically complex area within MARS, shaping identity, security protocols, and platform integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Own inbound product direction, researching emerging AI agent capabilities, attacker techniques, and standards to define the next features for the agent registry, Claude and Microsoft Copilot integrations, MCP Server and Proxy.
• Translate market, customer, and competitive signals into clear, engineering‑ready PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria, and groom the backlog across multiple related surfaces.
• Prototype and stress‑test proposed behavior using AI coding assistants, MCP clients and agent runtimes to ensure requirements are grounded in real agent behavior.
• Brief technical support and solutions engineering on new capabilities and maintain up‑to‑date documentation for the field.
• Engage customers, sales and product marketing to gather requirements, support technical evaluations, and influence positioning through competitive analysis.

Required profile

• 6–10+ years of product management or product owner experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise infrastructure or security software, with a track record of owning complex technical product areas end‑to‑end.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, engineering‑ready requirements and manage a backlog for technically complex surfaces.
• Comfort operating with high autonomy and at a fast agile cadence, driving goals from research through launch.
• Solid working knowledge of AI agent technology, LLMs, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem.
• Real cybersecurity background with familiarity in identity and access management, proxy/gateway architectures and content inspection.
