Senior Product Manager – Orchestration

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager you will lead the development of Checkout.com’s next‑generation orchestration platform – a modular control layer that connects, routes, retries, vaults and reconciles payments across providers through a single integration. This high‑impact, zero‑to‑one role turns complex payment challenges into trusted, revenue‑critical products for enterprise merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap for core orchestration capabilities, translating merchant problems into measurable commercial impact.
• Design reliable experiences for provider connectivity, routing, retries, token portability, reporting and reconciliation.
• Build foundational APIs, data models, provider abstraction, observability, auditability and safe change management.
• Lead cross‑functional delivery with engineering, design, commercial, risk, compliance and finance teams.
• Guide pilots to enterprise adoption, including migration, controlled rollout, rollback and co‑creation with customers.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end payments, including PSPs, acquirers, settlement, refunds, disputes and reconciliation.
• Experience building or scaling API‑first, platform or infrastructure products where reliability and operational excellence are critical.
• Comfort with payment‑related data such as approval performance, latency, provider health and cost.
• Systems‑thinking ability to simplify complexity while preserving essential details.
• Proven capability to move from merchant discovery to product strategy, technical trade‑offs and executive communication.
