Senior Product Manager – Search Recall & Query

About the role

Constructor is seeking a highly technical, systems‑minded Senior Product Manager to lead the Machine Learning & Recall and Query teams that sit at the entry point of our discovery pipeline. You will bridge shopper intent with candidate retrieval, shaping strategy and driving measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define a unified multi‑quarter roadmap for both the Machine Learning & Recall and Query teams, ensuring query understanding and candidate generation evolve together.
• Lead the Query team to advance tokenization, spell correction, entity extraction, intent classification, and LLM‑assisted parsing across multiple languages.
• Guide the Recall team in evolving hybrid candidate generation architecture, combining keyword search, dense embeddings, vector retrieval, and hybrid models.
• Own core business metrics such as search‑attributed conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV across retail verticals.
• Translate state‑of‑the‑art research into low‑latency, cost‑effective production systems.
• Balance model complexity, accuracy, inference latency, and compute costs with data‑backed decisions.
• Build robust offline and online evaluation frameworks linking retrieval precision to revenue outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical product teams in machine‑learning‑driven search or recommendation systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving conversion and revenue metrics through product initiatives.
