Senior Progression Coach

About the role

The Senior Progression Coach will lead a small team to empower young people experiencing homelessness, helping them secure housing, improve financial stability and engage in meaningful activities. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Manchester and combines direct client work with team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small caseload, delivering person‑centred, strengths‑based support.
• Supervise, coach and appraise a team of coaches, holding regular supervisions and team meetings.
• Ensure accurate, timely recording of outcomes on the client database in line with contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality risk assessments and SMART support plans for each client.
• Facilitate one‑to‑one support in the community and occasional group work.
• Lead multi‑agency partnership working with statutory and voluntary organisations.
• Uphold safeguarding and emergency procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing people, caseloads and risk in fast‑paced community settings.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and multi‑agency collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes related to housing, financial stability and social inclusion.
• Excellent communication, empathy and accountability.
