Senior Project Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join a well‑established organisation in Maidenhead. The role focuses on revenue recognition, contract accounting and month‑end close for complex project environments, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Revenue recognition and contract accounting, including percentage‑completion, WIP, accrued and deferred revenue.
• Project cost accounting and month‑end close activities.
• Preparation of project reporting, management accounts, intercompany and statutory reporting.
• Development of systems, processes and team capabilities to ensure data integrity.
• Setup and closure of project financial structures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with experience in revenue accounting across multiple periods.
• Proven experience in project or contract‑based environments.
• Familiarity with IFRS 15 principles and performance obligations.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and multi‑entity/intercompany reporting.
