Senior Project Finance Officer

About the role

Join the Treasury & Economic Analysis team at JERA Nex bp and help drive the financing of offshore wind projects worldwide. You will work closely with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors to ensure projects are bankable and aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Steer project development from a financing and bankability perspective, liaising with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors.
• Coordinate discussions with existing and potential project‑finance lenders throughout development and execution phases.
• Oversee the preparation and review of due‑diligence reports.
• Supervise financial modelling, structuring and scenario analysis following best practices.
• Manage bank reporting and covenant monitoring for existing offshore wind financings.
• Monitor financing trends in offshore wind and the broader renewable sector.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance and/or engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project finance or power‑sector financing.
• Proven track record of leading transactions and deal teams during due‑diligence and execution.
• UK experience viewed positively.
• Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork abilities.
• Hands‑on, responsible, structured approach.
• Comfortable working with complex Excel models.
