Senior Project Manager – Built Environment

About the role

TSA Riley is seeking a Senior Project Manager to strengthen its project management team in the Northwest region, with offices in central Manchester and Bolton. The successful candidate can work out of either office. The role suits experienced project managers who have led complex construction developments through their whole lifecycle and across multiple sectors, ideally those with prior consultancy or client-facing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from concept to completion, covering scope, cost, quality, safety and programme
• Coordinate inputs across procurement, design, delivery planning, site activity and contractor engagement
• Manage budgets, contracts and scope changes, and use digital tools to track progress and report on quality
• Ensure compliance with project governance, quality and safety frameworks
• Provide direction, feedback and support to team members
• Contribute to business growth through pipeline development, bids and pursuits

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a field relevant to projects in the built environment
• Experience delivering construction-related projects in a client-side or consulting environment
• Professional accreditation such as CIOB, RICS or equivalent, or pursuit of it
• Understanding of pre-construction duties, including design team management and third-party legal agreements
• Reputation for leading teams and engaging with the wider industry

Required skills

• Project lifecycles, commercial controls and contract administration, including acting as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent
• Managing scope, programme and budget on complex projects
• Digital project tools for planning, reporting and quality assurance
• Stakeholder management and conflict resolution
